Workshops & Talks for Universities and Colleges
Relationship and Sex Education is lifelong learning about physical, sexual, moral and emotional development and wellbeing, so it shouldn’t finish when we leave school.
Navigating and making decisions about our relationships, sex, sexuality and sexual identity in the 21st century can often be challenging. The growing use of technology in relationships, the anxiety of doing and/or saying the correct thing without offending, the general pace of life and the current pandemic, can all add to the strain of starting, continuing, ending, or even not wanting a relationship.
Although starting university or college is generally an exciting and positive experience, adapting to this new way of living and learning can also be challenging at times, as can meeting new people and forming new relationships.
As an adult, revisiting topics such as sexual health and consent in particular, and having the opportunity for an informal discussion without being judged, either in or outside of the workshop, can be a helpful way to develop or confirm your understanding of e.g. the law, consent, sexual health testing, the bystander effect, sexuality, sexual identity.
Our Relationships and Sex Specialist would be happy to run a session for you, either by Zoom or in person at your venue if COVID-19 rules and guidance permit.
