Interact is a regular get together for Gay and Bi men. You can drop in and stay as long as you like, you can attend regularly or just occasionally. It’s a safe, friendly and relaxed space where you can talk about your experiences, find out about what community events there are out there, and overcome any barriers you might experience in accessing the kind of social/support networks you might want to be part of. We can also organise for speakers to come along if the group wants to hear about a particular topic or news item. Light refreshments are provided but feel free to bring your own food.
You can pick up free condoms, lube and sexual health information and if you’d like one to one support or counselling, just speak to Graham and he’ll be able to organise this for you.
Every few months we hold an Interact social event. This can be anything from a meal, bowling, a visit to a local attraction, cinema or a walk – it’s generally up to the group to decide.
Interact during COVID-19
Due to COVID-19 regulations it has not been possible for the Interact groups to meet in a face to face setting, so the group has gone online. Joining instructions can be found on the Cambridge LGBTQ+ Group
You have to be a member of the group to be able to access the details, this is for people’s personal security.
Dates and time for upcoming online groups:
- Thursday 9th July 6pm to 7pm
- Thursday 13th August 6pm to 7pm
- Thursday 10th September 6pm to 7pm
As the Government regulations are constantly being reviewed we are exploring how we can hold face to face gatherings in a socially distanced way. These events will also be promoted on the Cambridge LGBTQ+ website. Any such event will be subject to national Government and local Public Health guidance.
