Information for Teachers and Schools
Information for Teachers and Schools
We can support schools in the provision of some elements of their PSHE curriculum through providing a range of SRE (Sex and Relationships Education) workshops, including social media internet safety (covering sexual exploitation).
Evidence shows that students prefer to receive SRE from an outside agency rather than from school staff. Many students report that they find it embarrassing to discuss SRE topics with their teachers; they prefer to access this information from someone unrelated to school where they feel more comfortable and able to ask questions and engage in discussions.
We offer the following workshops (click on each workshop for an outline):
- Workshop 1: STIs and HIV/AIDS
- Workshop 2: Contraception and Correct Condom Use
- Workshop 3a: Healthy Relationships KS3
- Workshop 3b: Healthy Relationships KS4
- Workshop 4: Pornography and Sexualisation
- Workshop 5: Social Media and Internet Safety
- Workshop 6: Consent
