About

Red and Alive is about raising awareness of HIV and sexual ill health within Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas in the East of England. Red and Alive is a campaign organised by DHIVERSE, the HIV and Sexual Health charity. Many other organisations, community groups, businesses and individuals are getting involved to plan events and activities.

Founded in 1986 as Cambridge AIDS Helpline, DHIVERSE was amongst the first voluntary sector organisations to form in the fight against HIV and AIDS in the UK. Over the years DHIVERSE has grown and developed, responding to changing needs and involving those people who use our services every step of the way.

From the employment of our first staff positions in 1993, to the opening of a new office in Huntingdon in 2003, DHIVERSE has remained at the forefront of the fight against HIV and sexual ill health.
