DHIVERSE has a number of talks available to meet the needs of schools and youth groups in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.
A brief talk on the subject of HIV/AIDS and the global pandemic, its implications for different nations and the situation here in the United Kingdom. Many schools book an assembly talk on or around World AIDS Day on 1st December.
Hour-long talks on the issues affecting people living with HIV, and how DHIVERSE is working to tackle Stigma and Discrimination.

"An OfSTED inspector observed your session and praised your knowledge and approach with the pupils. It was touching to see that at the end of the day, pupils transferred their red ribbons to their sports kit as a large number of the year group were involved in an athletics match. They were also willing to explain to representatives from other schools why they were wearing the ribbons."
These talks can be adapted to meet the needs of individual schools. DHIVERSE can also support your school in developing peer education projects and other activities that support the development of greater awareness around HIV, sexual health and relationships.
All of our schools and youth work is provided free of charge to the school or youth group. We do of course appreciate any donation that you are able to make towards the cost, however this is not expected and is entirely voluntary. Rather than making a donation many schools have requested a fundraising pack .
To book a schools session please contact us to discuss your requirements or telephone 01223 508805.
