Raising awareness and raising funds in schools.

Raising awareness and raising funds in your school or college

There are many ways to raise funds and awareness and most of them are fun too! We have got some ideas here, on our fundraising and on our sponsored events pages, but there are many more: your imagination is the limit!

Schools play a very important part in fundraising for charities, it is estimated they raise over £200 million a year! HIV and sexual health is a very real issue for young people in the UK today, and fundraising events can provide a great opportunity to raise awareness as well.

Whatever you do, remember to make it fun and to send us a photo! To request a fundraising pack for your school or college please , or telephone 01223 508805.

Dress Down Day

Students and staff pay an amount (eg one pound) to wear their own clothes (or maybe fancy dress?) for the day. This could be on World AIDS Day, or on the day you have your assembly talk so people are aware what it is for. You can also have a Wear Something Red day for World AIDS Day!
