Positive Options is the part of DHIVERSE that works with people living with HIV, and those affected by HIV such as the partners, carers and children of people living with the virus.
People living with HIV are involved in every aspect of DHIVERSE and our Board includes positions for people with HIV.
Positive Options is open to anyone living with or affected by HIV, although some services are limited to people normally resident in Cambridgeshire or the surrounding counties due to the availability of funding.
< Top of pageWe believe that people living with HIV have the experience and capacity to support others living with the virus and in our strength as positive people to effect positive change. Positive Options is supported by a staff and volunteer team that includes positive people, negative people and those who are untested.
We believe that whilst our work is within Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas that we are part of a global fight against HIV and we will therefore work to build partnerships with people living with HIV and organisations that work with positive people locally, nationally and beyond.
We believe that our diversity as a community of people with HIV is one of our greatest strengths. We seek to challenge stigma and discrimination where it occurs.
